Use Cases

Different people. Real possibilities.

One record, seen from the side of everyone around it. Find your door: what Zynaut Pathways is for you, what you get, and what can never be done to you.

SameRecord.DifferentFutures.

A large group of college students sit together under a leafy tree on a campus lawn, laughing and talking.

Every door says three things

The offer, and the boundary that makes it worth having

  • What this is for you
  • What you get
  • What is never done to you
  • The person at the centreEvery other participant is a guest
  • One recordOwned by the person it describes
  • Never ranked or searchedBy anyone, from any door
  • Shared one view at a timeConsented, purpose-limited, revocable
  • Built in IndiaDesigned to travel anywhere

The same five stages, whoever you are

Where each door enters the journey

Five stages you return to, not finish. Every audience enters at a different one — and the person who owns the record is present in all five.

See how it works
  1. 1. Discover

Students, job seekers and professionals start here: where you are heading, and what you already bring. A parent or guardian may be invited in.

  2. 2. Validate

Teachers, examining bodies and employers stand behind evidence here. Your own word counts too, marked as such.

  3. 3. Develop

Advisers, mentors and counsellors take part here, by assignment, with the reasoning shown.

  4. 4. Connect

You reach outward — to a mentor, an institution, a programme or an employer — by your own act, under your own permission.

  5. 5. Demonstrate

An employer receives one consented view. Institutions and programmes see aggregates only.

One record, three sides

What each side of the record sees

The same record looks different depending on where you stand. The person sees all of it; everyone else sees what the person, or the design, allows.

  • The person

Whoever the record is about — a student, a job seeker, someone at work.

    • Everything in the record
    • Who added each entry, and where it came from
    • Who is looking, for what purpose, for how long
    • The route to contest any conclusion
    • Only what the purpose requires collected — designed for India's DPDP Act
  • Institutions and programmes

Schools, colleges, training providers, enterprises and government programmes.

    • Their own learners or population, as an aggregate
    • What the programme built, against what it set out to build
    • Never an individual outside a permission that person granted
    • Never another institution's learners
  • Recipients and guests

Employers, advisers, mentors, parents and guardians.

    • Only what the person chose to share
    • For a stated purpose, for a limited time
    • Evidence with its issuer attached — or, for advisers and guardians, the picture without the evidence
    • Nothing to search, browse or rank

Illustrative journeys

Real people. Real progress.

Three journeys the design is built around — one from each side of the record.

  • A young woman wearing round glasses tilts her head with a slight smile, sitting outdoors with an open notebook on her lap and green trees blurred behind her.Illustrative journey

    A first-year student

Starts a record with where she is heading and what she can already do. Nothing is verified yet, and it still counts — as her own word, marked as such. Every project she adds keeps its source.

  • Three colleagues, two men and a woman, sit close together at a plain desk looking at laptops and a monitor in an unbranded office.Illustrative journey

    A school leadership team

Reads where a year group stands as a whole against what the school set out to build. Nobody in the view is named, and nothing ranks one learner against another.

  • A man at a desk in a bright office reads from an orange folder, monitors behind him.Illustrative journey

    A mid-career professional

Changing direction after years in one role. Work he has already done counts as evidence. When he approaches an employer, he sends one view — and can take it back.

Illustrative journeys, written to show what the design is for. Zynaut Pathways is in development and no customer story, testimonial or measured outcome is published yet.

Questions from every side

What people ask before they find their door

All questions
  • Who can see my record?

You, and whoever you choose to show one view of it to, for a stated purpose, for as long as you allow. An institution or programme sees aggregates, built so no individual is exposed — never your record itself, and you only under a permission you granted. A parent or guardian, under a recorded permission, sees how the record is growing and what it suggests next — never the evidence itself.

  • Can an employer find me?

No. There is no search, no browsing and no ranking of people. An employer only ever receives what you chose to send them, and you can withdraw it.

  • How does it work for my child?

A guardian can be invited under a recorded permission that can be ended. You see how the record is growing and what it suggests next — never the underlying evidence, and never a comparison with other children.

  • What happens to my record when I leave my school, college or employer?

It stays yours. The record is held for you and travels with you. The institution's view of you was bounded to begin with, and it ends with the programme.

  • Where does a college placement office fit?

As an adviser a student chooses, and through the institution's aggregate view of its own programme. A placement office gains no search over students, and the record does not replace the placement process a college already runs. It is what a student can bring to it.

  • Is it available now, and what does it cost?

Not yet. An implementation exists and is being built against, but it is not generally available and no date is claimed. Pricing is not published for the same reason.

Status: In development

Active implementation exists. General availability is not claimed.

What is not claimed. No customer, adoption figure, outcome, partnership or certification is published anywhere on this site, because none has been verified. Every design fact here is a commitment about how the record is built, not a report of results.
