Compass
Clarity today. A brighter tomorrow.
Compass is the part of Zynaut Pathways that holds your direction: where you say you are heading, what your evidence supports today, and the one gap between the two that matters most — with the reasoning shown, and a person in the advisory role.
SameYou.A BrighterTomorrow.

Guidance tells you which direction to face. The record shows what your evidence currently supports, the one gap that matters, and how to show you closed it — with a person in the advisory role.

Your direction, in five moves
How Compass works
From where you say you are heading to the evidence that you got there. Advice comes from a person; the record shows the reasoning.
1. Say where you are heading
Your goal and your stage of life, in your words. It can change whenever you do.
2. See what your evidence supports
What the record can already back, claim by claim — and what is still your own word.
3. The one gap that matters
The distance to your goal, as the smallest step worth taking, with the reasoning shown.
4. A step you can take
Something you can actually do next — from anywhere, with a person to advise if you want one.
5. Show you closed it
New evidence enters the record, and the picture changes with it.
More than suggestions
Direction you stated. A gap you can see.
Compass does not generate a path for you. You say where you are heading; the record shows what your evidence supports today, the one gap that matters most, and what would have to change to close it. Improvement counts for more than where you stand, and every suggestion carries its reasoning, so you or your adviser can question it.
- Direction stated by you, not inferred about you
- What your evidence supports today, claim by claim
- The one gap that matters most — not a list
- The reasoning behind every suggested step
- Advice from a person, kept in your record
Clarity turns ambition into action.
What it works from
What Compass draws on
Nothing here is a prediction about you. Each is something you stated, something you showed, or something a person recorded.
- Your stated directionWhere you are heading and what stage of life you are at, in your words.
- What you say you can doYour own declaration — a valid start, marked as your own word until confirmed.
- Evidence, with its confidenceWork, results, observations and certificates, each with how strongly it supports a claim.
- How you learnYour learning preferences, so a next step is one you can actually take.
- Advice a person recordedWhat a counsellor, mentor or adviser suggested, kept in your record with its reasoning.
- What would have to changeNot only that a claim is unsupported, but what evidence would move it.
- Direction is yoursStated, never inferred
- Never a prediction of youNothing scores your prospects
- One gap, not a listThe smallest step worth taking
- Improvement countsFor more than where you stand today
- Reasoning shownEvery suggestion says why
- A person advisesThe system does not
Real people. Real progress.
Direction, from three sides
Three journeys the design is built around — a student, a graduate, and the person advising them.
A school student unsure what to study
States a direction he is not certain of, and what he already enjoys doing. The record shows what his evidence supports and the one gap that matters for that direction. When he changes his mind, the direction changes — and nothing he has shown is lost.
A graduate changing direction
Has a degree in one field and a goal in another. Instead of starting from nothing, she sees which of her existing evidence already supports the new direction, the one gap that matters most, and a step she can take from where she is.
A counsellor assigned to a student
Sees the gap the student is working on and the reasoning behind the suggested next step — never the raw evidence. The advice she gives is recorded in the student's record, beside its reasoning, where the student can read it and question it.
Illustrative journeys, written to show what the design is for. Zynaut Pathways is in development and no customer story, testimonial or measured outcome is published yet.
Questions
Questions about direction
Does Compass tell me what to do?
No. It shows what your evidence supports today, the one gap that matters for where you said you are heading, and what would move it. Advice comes from a person — a counsellor, mentor or adviser — and the reasoning behind any suggestion is shown, so you can question it.
Can I change my direction?
Yes, whenever you like. Direction is something you state, not something the system infers about you. A new goal starts the five stages again against a record that is now larger; nothing you have already shown is lost, and nothing is held against you.
Does it predict where I will end up?
No. Nothing scores your prospects, and nothing ranks you against anyone. What it states is a fact about your evidence: what it supports now, and what would have to change. That is never a forecast about you, and it is never compared between people.
Does it give me a score?
No. Nothing rates you as a person. What it states is how strongly each claim is supported by evidence, claim by claim, with the reasoning shown.
What if I disagree with what it says?
Every conclusion carries a route to contest it, and a person reads the challenge. The record also shows which evidence it counted, which it did not, and why.
How does it work for my child?
A guardian can be invited under a recorded permission that can be ended. You see how the record is growing and what it suggests next — never the underlying evidence, and never a comparison with other children.

What is not claimed. No customer, adoption figure, outcome, partnership or certification is published anywhere on this site, because none has been verified. Every design fact here is a commitment about how the record is built, not a report of results.
